5 Family Ski Holidays For Under £500 Per Person
You can bag a week-long family ski holiday for under £500 per person – just book one of the deals below! Less popular resorts like those in Bulgaria and Poland will be more reasonably priced, but we have found deals in hotspots like France, Austria and Andorra too.
These packages are for 2 adults and 2 children, and all include flights, accommodation and coach transfers. These prices were live at mid-Jan, so you don’t have to book months in advance to get a good deal. Extras you’ll need to consider are lift passes, equipment hire and winter travel insurance.
Deal #1 Andorra
Poblado Apartments Arinsal
£234pp for 6 nights
Departing Sunday 15 March from Glasgow

This ski holiday deal to the resort of Arinsal in Andorra is a great option if you’re on a strict budget.
The price of £234pp includes flights from Glasgow to Toulouse, with a large cabin bag (10kg) and a hold bag (20kg) included for each person, and coach transfers.
This is a self-catering deal, which is a helpful way to keep a lid on the cost of eating and drink whilst you’re there. And with that much luggage allowance, you could bring plenty of ingredients out with you, keeping costs down even further.
Arinsal is a family-friendly spot with plenty of beginner-friendly slopes. Poblado Apartments are in the heart of the resort, a couple of minutes’ walk from the gondolas for easy access to the slopes.
As you’d expect from the price, this accommodation is cheap and cheerful, but there is a bar on site and you can use the sauna (extra charge applies) at the neighbouring apartment complex.
This deal is with Crystal Ski, which gives you the option to add extras when you’re booking like lift passes, equipment hire and even ski school.

Deal #2 Poland
Smrekowa Polana Resort & Spa
£337pp for 7 nights
Departing Saturday 21 February from Liverpool

Now you know I’ve tried and tested cheap skiing in Poland – so I am I’m happy to bring you this family deal to Zakopane.
From just £337pp, you get a self-catering apartment, flights from Liverpool to Krakow and coach transfers.
Smrekowa Polana Resort and Spa has great reviews from guests who like the clean and cosy rooms and welcoming staff. The spa here has a sauna and hot tub – great for easing aching bodies after spending all day on the slopes!

Deal #3 Bulgaria
Royal Park Hotel & Apartments
£442ppp for 7 nights
Departing Saturday 31 January from London Gatwick

Bulgaria is another spot that I’ve tried and tested for a cheap ski spot. I went to Borovets, but this deal is actually in Bankso, another popular Bulgarian resort.
The price of £442pp includes 7 nights’ accommodation with breakfast, flights from London Gatwick and coach transfers. It’s a 20 minute walk from the gondola that will whisk you to the slopes – or just hop on the free bus that stops opposite the hotel.
The well-rated 4-star Royal Park Hotel & Apartments has a pool, sauna and steam room – great for relaxing when you’re not on the slopes – and lovely views of Pirin National Park.
Deal #4 France
RockyPop Chamonix
£467pp for 6 nights
Departing Monday 23 March from Manchester

Even in well-known resorts in popular destinations, you can still bag an affordable trip.
I found this trip to the Chamonix ski area for just £467pp, which is pretty well-priced for such a popular resort. The price includes flights to Geneva from Manchester and coach transfers.
You’re actually in the village of Les Houches, rather than Chamonix proper, but RockyPop Chamonix – Les Houches is just a 20-minute bus journey to Chamonix (free with a region ski pass). So this deal is perfect if you’re on a budget but you love this part of the world. Plus you’re in a cute mountain village, removed from the hustle and bustle of Chamonix itself.
