La Recyclerie is an urban farm and eco centre that also offers repairs and recycling workshops. The thing that blew me away was how big the place is! Running alongside the train tracks, the farm - with seating areas peppered alongside it - just keeps going on and on. It took me 3 minutes to walk to the end and back up which for an urban area, is pretty impressive!
It’s a great spot for a sunny day as there’s lots of outdoor seating; but inside it's beautiful, with a huge window letting the light in across their dining area which has a cafeteria vibe.
The food is well priced too. They do a lunch menu where you get a main, a dessert and a coffee for €19.50 (or it's cheaper for the veggies and the vegans - 17€!). The food is fresh and skews veggie friendly, and is definitely a good option if you are vegan in a city that is generally pretty meaty when it comes to food options! I opted for a crepe filled with lentils, arancini and with a salad on the side - it was definitely the healthiest meal I had in Paris during my time there!!
La Recyclerie also holds a range of diverse events, from embroidery workshops to outdoor film screenings, animation courses, and evening DJ nights.
