Athenian Foss

From the outside, it doesn't look like much but as I clicked through more and more of the photos of Athenian Foss I was pretty impressed.

With 15 rooms, this boutique hotel has managed to deliver that luxury feel for a really affordable cost and if it were me, I'd be digging deep into my pockets to go for the Superior Double Room which comes with a balcony - but please email ahead to double check you'll get one as not all rooms are created equal!

What's more, if you're looking for a treat, their Presidential Suite can be really affordable on certain dates too - I found it for just £145 later on this year.
