ClinkMama has a fab location in central Amsterdam, next to the Waterlooplein flea market and the Jewish Museum.

This isn’t your average hostel. Every corner is filled with something cool, from jelly moulds on the walls to a cinema in a teepee. There's also a communal cooking area with a sofa and comfy chairs. But the best part is ClinkMama is all about going green - they've got a living roof, eco-friendly products and recycled furniture – and even the bed sheets are organic cotton.

Bunk up in a dorm or book a private double; either way you’re in for a treat. Decor is bright and breezy - you could find yourself in a room with concrete walls juxtaposed with colourful tiles, or maybe a cabin furnished with textiles and eclectic artwork. Whether you’re watching the canal view from your window or lounging in one of the unique cabins, each space is a bit like a curated work of art.

The staff are super friendly, and will sort you out with a bike to explore the city or help you join in on a movie night or a pub crawl. There's a communal kitchen stocked with all the basics you need to craft your breakfast, from cereal to bread and fresh fruit. Keep an eye out for surprise group dinners organised by the staff.
