Moxy Amsterdam Houthavens

Moxy Amsterdam Houthavens is located on a peninsula in the bustling Port of Amsterdam. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but a bus ride to Centraal Station takes just 10 minutes. From there, you can easily reach Museumplein by tram or the historic canal area on foot.

Inside, the industrial-themed decor includes concrete walls, chunky ropes and a shipping container wall, combined with playful Dutch design touches. Rooms come with comfortable beds, storage and a workspace. Some rooms have lush views of the harbour.

The heart of the action takes place at the lobby-bar. Here you can check in and also grab a cocktail or two. It’s a great chill spot – it has a DJ corner and hanging pod chairs to relax in while you watch the sunset.

There’s a gym – with natural light – and an eight-metre swimming pool to splash around in. When it comes to food, you can buy salads and microwaveable meals from self-service shelves next to the bar. They also offer some made-to-order food like authentic pizza and Indonesian dishes.
