You can easily walk to the cool Old Town and its lively market square. They also of stunning city views from the rooftop.

The hotel itself has a modern vibe and stylish chic decor. The rooms are spacious with a stylish industrial vibe, with artsy murals and exposed concrete details. The combo of black and copper accents throughout the interior is a winner. You can control your room's atmosphere with a touch pad – lighting and temperature, sorted. They even sneak in a welcome basket in your room, loaded with fruity treats, chocolates, and macaroons. When the sun sets, you can chill in the garden or soak in the river view from your room.

Breakfast is an extensive continental buffet spread. Plus, they've got an elegant bar where you can find experimental cocktails and a fun ambience. Perfect for winding down.

Get a workout in at the gym, then make your way to the rooftop spa for a massage and relaxing sauna session. Head to the hotel restaurant for dinner and enjoy their highly rated steak and gourmet burger. James and I went for food during our trip and it was really good - a bit more expensive than places in the area, but well priced for a 5 star luxury hotel.

We also had a cocktail (or two!) outside in the garden where a DJ and saxophonist was playing. It was a great place to spend the afternoon!
