The July – Boat & Co is a stylish spot in Amsterdam’s Western Docklands with amazing water views. It’s a bit out of the way from the Canal Belt, but they offer a handy transit service to a nearby bus stop and you can bike to the city centre in about 15 minutes.
The hotel has a cool Art Deco-inspired design with a lobby featuring chandeliers and a cosy fireplace. Rooms range from studios to penthouse lofts, all spacious and decked out with retro furniture and well-equipped kitchenettes. Most rooms have great water views.
There are two large terraces right by the water, perfect for relaxing. The friendly staff add to the laid-back atmosphere. The wellness centre has a sauna, steam room, gym and yoga room, and you can rent bikes at the front desk.
The dining is top-notch too. The Atrium offers tasty casual dishes like roast carrot salad or pike-perch on Savoy cabbage, while Vessel serves modern French cuisine and tasting menus. Breakfast is also a treat, with options like oatmeal porridge or avocado toast with salmon.
