Renting a pedal boat (or a Prague Pedalos, as the Czech call it) and drifting along the river, is a popular tourist activity to do in Prague. The majority of these boat rides take place on the Vltava River, providing an excellent opportunity to appreciate the stunning cityscape.
There are lots of spots by the riverside (Old Town side) where you can hop on a boat. You'll find them mainly between Charles Bridge and Jiraskuv Bridge (Dancing House). If you want to go under Charles Bridge, head to Novotneho Lavka and rent a boat from there. But bear in mind, during busy seasons because it gets pretty crazy with boats everywhere. So, Slavonic Island, a bridge upstream, is another quieter option.
Prices start at CZK300 (£10.63) for an hour in a standard 4 person pedal boat. To rent a boat at least one person has to be over the age of 15 and one person also needs to show some ID.
