Villa Farnesina is a beautifully-decorated former private residence in Trastevere - it was once the home of a banker and you can really tell - it's SO nice!
The villa is shaped along 3 sides of a square, with beautiful gardens, and inside are some amazing frescos that are seriously impressive, whether you're an art buff or a casual observer.
It's a very beautiful building and if you fancy doing some sightseeing but can't bear the crowds at the more mainstream attractions, you'll love this hidden gem.
