How viral? Views of this TikTok have hit 5.5M – and it’s easy to see why! 🌌
If you’re itching to book your trip to Lapland after watching this reel, then we’ve got you, with three accommodation options to suit every budget.
Aurora Hut Igloo

A dreamy igloo with huge glass windows is definitely Lapland goals. Enter Aurora Hut Igloo, which is in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnnish Lapland.
Here on the edge of the Arctic Circle you can get close to nature, chase the Northern Lights and even visit Santa in his home.
For a super luxe and magical experience, you can stay in one of these igloos, where huge glass windows give you incredible views out to the nature and landscape beyond.
If you’re visiting specifically to spot the Northern Lights, then this is a great way to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
The igloos are pretty functional inside, with a bed, bathroom, seating and tea and coffee facilities. And don’t worry – there is WiFi!
The overall complex also has a sauna and a hot tub for staying toasty warm during the cold days and nights.
How much? A stay in an igloo at Aurora Hut Igloo can set you back £856 per night.
Fancy a cheaper alternative?
Seaside Glass Villas

For those incredible sky views without the painful price tag, book into Seaside Glass Villas which is in Kemi, a coastal town about an hour and a half south of Rovaniemi.
An igloo might be more aesthetically pleasing, but the important thing is the views out – and you get those enormous big glass windows here too.
Plus you get a LOT more space. These cabins have a kitchette and seating area, and some have a dining area or terrace too.
How much? 2 adults can stay in December from £258 per night.
What about even cheaper?
Arctic Lodge Hetan Kota

For a more budget-friendly stay, check out Arctic Lodge Hetan Kota. It’s in Enontekiö, which is right up in the northwest – not far from the Swedish border – about a 3 hour 45 minute drive from Rovaniemi.
They have a bunch of traditional cabins – including some cool A-frame ones – where you can rent a room, apartment or a whole cottage.
There’s a sauna on site – of course – and a shared kitchen too. These are lakeside cabins, so if you’re brave enough for a dip, then go right ahead!
How much? An en-suite twin room in one of the A-frame cabins, costs from just £95 per night.
