Regnum The Crown Review: Turkey’s Best Luxury All-Inclusive?

Updated: November 3, 2026

Regnum The Crown opened its doors in July 2025 and has quickly earned a reputation as being one of Turkey’s most impressive luxury all-inclusive hotels, with some even suggesting it’s the country’s best.

And there’s good reason why. Sprawling across more than 32 acres, you can find all-suite accommodation, lavish swimming pools and numerous a la carte restaurants and bars to choose from.

But with the decadence comes the hefty price tag – and so is Regnum The Crown really worth the money? And is there a way to experience all this luxury for less?

Details of my trip

After a few days relaxing at the considerably cheaper five-star AKKA Antedon, 70km down the road, I decided to extend my trip by one night so that we could check out the much-lauded Regnum The Crown.

The resort had piqued my interest after British celebrities like Molly-Mae and Stacey Solomon had visited, posting about their stays on social media. But it wasn’t the sheer opulence of the place that had interested me – it was the price. With the cheapest suites fetching £1,500 a night in the peak summer months, I wondered: how could a hotel ever command that price?

Fortunately for me, the prices when I was visiting – January 2026 – were considerably lower, at £398 a night. Plus, they didn’t require a minimum stay and so I decided to book one night to find out what the fuss was really about.

Room

I booked the cheapest room – or should I say suite – because yes, Regnum The Crown is a suite-only resort. And to call it the ‘smallest’ room feels a little ridiculous, since its 110m² includes a bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, shower, free-standing tub, dining area and balcony.

As well as the sheer amount of space, I was seriously impressed with how well maintained everything was. It looked fresh, clean and expensive. With luxury toiletries, welcome fruit and treats on arrival, and a fully stocked fridge included in the all-inclusive package, this was a real wow experience.

The bed – a huge super-king-size – was incredibly comfy, with top-spec bedding. I also loved the fact that the sofa in the living area converted into a sofa bed too, with a curtain separating the two spaces for privacy. In a world where families are often pushed into booking the next room category up, I thought it was fantastic that the ‘cheapest’ room could be booked for families too. In fact, the room has space for 3 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 4 children – though perhaps you’d prefer a bit more space if there were that many of you!

The final thing to mention is the incredible view across the resort and out towards the sea.

All in all, I could not fault the room. It was, and still is, the best room I’ve ever stayed in!

Restaurants & Dining

Main restaurants

When it comes to food, you are absolutely spoilt for choice. As well as the buffet restaurant, there are six à la carte restaurants to try out during your stay.

These include Eva (Slavic cuisine), Yàn Jí (Pan-Asian), Nuage (Adults Only International), Maïa (Peruvian), Al-Waha (Arabic and Levantine) and El Tapeo (Spanish). However, the choice may be more limited during the winter months, when some restaurants close for the season.

During our short stay, we tried out the following restaurants:

Buffet Restaurant

Arriving early at the hotel, we started at the open buffet for lunch – also known as Daphne’s Restaurant. We were totally blown away by how much was on offer, including salads, breads, sushi, meat, fish, local dishes, pasta and international cuisine – I could go on. James was particularly impressed when he realised he could select a steak from the meat counter and have it cooked especially for him.

There were plenty of sweet treats too, though my personal preference is always a slice – or three – of baklava when I’m in Turkey.

We visited the buffet twice more – at breakfast I enjoyed çılbır and coffee, and for lunch I went for some steak, veg, pasta and loads of salad.

I also really liked that there was an adults-only section and that there was table service too, so it felt like a more elevated experience, even for a buffet restaurant.

Nuage Adults Only Restaurant

For dinner, we managed to snag a last-minute booking at the adults-only à la carte restaurant on the top floor. Whilst there are some dishes with supplements on the menu, there were plenty of choices included and I was really happy with my snail starter, prawn, mozzarella and aubergine bake with dauphinoise potatoes, and pistachio ice cream to finish.

The food was good quality and the service was excellent. Having had quite the decadent day already, I swerved the cocktails and asked the waiters whether they could knock up a more simple tequila and pineapple drink. They not only obliged, but even came back with a full handwritten recipe should I want to request the same thing at another bar.

Casual dining and snacks

There are also plenty of more casual dining options, including restaurants and bars serving everything from light bites to more substantial meals.

Lotus offers juices and protein rich meals for those not looking to indulge, whilst Chubby’s – the American Diner – perhaps offers the opposite.

Efendi offers Turkish coffees, toasted sandwiches and the classic “halka” dessert.

As for Paola, prepare to be blown away by an outrageous display of pastries and cakes which you’re free to select from. This place is a bakery lovers dream!

In the summer, there are also many additional places to get food outside – but sadly these were closed in the winter season when we visited.

Bars & Cafes

Whether you’re after a café for a burst of caffeine, a health bar for a green juice or a bar for a carefully crafted cocktail, Regnum has got an option for you.

I was surprised at how strong the coffee was at Coffee & Go, and loved relaxing in the sunshine at the outdoor Luna Bar with a margarita in hand. Agora Bar and Crown Lobby Bar also serve up an array of cocktails, but if you’re a connoisseur, don’t expect ‘World’s 50 Best Bars’ level. They’re pretty good for an all-inclusive, though!

For those looking for a more casual beer, you can head to Chubby’s Bar for pints whilst watching the day’s sports. And for those who care to know, there’s a cigar lounge too. Though expect to pay extra not only for the cigars, but also to play pool there. We racked up knowing there was a €6 charge, but didn’t realise that playing a second game would mean paying another €6!

During the winter season, there was plenty open, including Crown Lobby Bar, Agora, El Tapeo, Efendi, Nox Lounge, Chubby’s Bar, Coffee & Go and Lotus, but expect more choice from April onwards.

Pools & Beach

There are eight pools in total at Regnum the Crown – six outdoor and two indoor.

In the winter season, only one outdoor pool is open, but both pools inside are available too.

Outdoor pools

The main outdoor pool is called Blue Pool, which is a freshwater pool with a swim up bar. There’s also a big Wave Pool, and a smaller seawater pool called Salty Bay Pool. There’s a Blue Kids Pool too, and a heated Crystal Cove Pool – which is still open in the winter. This is the one with the epic cave with water falling through the ceiling! It was also super warm – it felt like swimming in a bath.

On the roof is the Seven Rooftop Pool, which is an adults only infinity pool. Sadly, this was closed during out visit!

Indoor pools

Inside, there is a beautiful Indoor Wellbeing Pool and an Indoor Kids Pool in the Revive Wellbeing Spa.

Beach

There’s a 450-metre private sandy beach with Blue Flag status, lined with sun loungers and parasols. There’s beachfront drinks service too, and private beach pavilions available for an additional charge.

Or at least there is in the summer. When we were there, they were renovating the whole area, so the beach and pier were only open to the diggers!

Facilities

Yep, as well as all the standard things you’d expect from a hotel, there’s so much more to explore when you’re at a hotel that’s 32 acres big!

So, let’s whizz through these.

Revive Wellbeing & Spa – enormous 4,500m² spa with an indoor pool, children’s pool, Jacuzzis, Turkish hammam, steam room and several saunas. The main thermal facilities are complimentary; massages and specialist treatments cost extra.

Taurus Fitness Club – adults-only rooftop gym with Technogym equipment, unusual specialist training machines and panoramic views.

Kids’ Clubs – Bamboo Junior Kids Club in the main building, plus the larger Bamboo Kids World and Leo Teens Club.

Arcade – There’s an arcade in Chubby’s American Diner but warning – it’s so expensive to play!

Sports Facilities – tennis, padel, pickleball, basketball and football, plus access to golf facilities.

Shopping and Beauty – retail shops, hairdresser, barber, market and photography services.

Additional Services – babysitting, laundry, concierge-style assistance and private transfers, with some carrying extra charges.

Access to Regnum Carya

In addition, as a guest of Regnum The Crown gives you access to  its sister hotel, Regnum Carya, with a shuttle available.

Entertainment

There’s both daytime and evening entertainment at Regnum The Crown, but don’t forget to check the winter season schedule too as not everything runs all year around.

Daytime entertainment

There’s plenty to keep you entertained during the day at Regnum The Crown, with a programme of activities ranging from yoga and cycling classes to sports and fitness sessions.

During the summer months, there’s even more going on, with poolside activities and entertainment for the whole family. There’s also a waterpark, games centre and plenty of activities for younger guests.

Evening entertainment

Evenings at Regnum The Crown can be as lively or relaxed as you like, with live music, shows, parties and a nightclub.

During the summer, the entertainment ramps up with outdoor performances, DJs and themed events. In winter, things are a little more low-key, although there was still plenty happening during our stay.

We popped into the nightclub one evening when karaoke was taking place, and it was an absolute rager! For something quieter, the Turkish coffee bar was a lovely alternative, with families playing games until late.

9/10

Service

The service at Regnum The Crown was excellent throughout our stay, with staff who were friendly, attentive and always happy to help.

We were particularly impressed by the welcome. We were offered drinks and chocolate-dipped strawberries at check-in, and were even allowed into our room two hours early.

Service in the restaurants and bars was equally impressive, and despite the size of the hotel, we never felt overlooked.

Of course, we were visiting during the quieter winter season, so I’d be interested to see whether the same standards are maintained when the hotel is much busier.

Who it's for

Regnum The Crown is a great choice for anyone with a generous holiday budget who wants a luxury all-inclusive experience where you barely need to leave the hotel.

I think it’s particularly well suited to couples who want to treat themselves, with the adults-only rooftop, fantastic restaurants and beautiful rooms.

But families are very well catered for too, with spacious suites, kids’ clubs, swimming pools and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.

Ultimately, this is a hotel for people who are happy to spend serious money on their holidays. However, visiting outside peak season could make this otherwise very expensive hotel much more affordable.

Worth knowing

If you’re someone who loves getting out and exploring local culture, I’d argue you’re wasting your money staying here. You’re paying a premium for everything the resort offers, so it makes sense to spend as much time enjoying it as possible.

One thing that did disappoint us was the atmosphere at times. At a cheaper five-star hotel we’d stayed at in Turkey, we’d experienced lots of guests playing videos out loud on their phones and having conversations on speakerphone. We’d hoped this wouldn’t be an issue at Regnum The Crown, or at least that staff might intervene to maintain the hotel’s relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I appreciate that attitudes towards phone etiquette can differ between cultures, but it interrupted our experience several times during our brief 24-hour stay.

For a hotel charging these prices, I would have expected a little more consideration for the overall guest experience. And, surprisingly, it’s one of the main reasons I’d hesitate to return.

My final verdict

I really surprised myself with how much I liked Regnum The Crown. It reminded me of the extravagant luxury hotels you find in Dubai, which isn’t usually my kind of holiday at all.

However, I just couldn’t fault much about it. Yes, it was over the top and perhaps a little gaudy at times, but it was seriously impressive. I loved how well-maintained everything was, and I still can’t get over just how much space we had in our room.

Genuinely, my only real grievance was other guests playing things out loud on their phones, and let’s face it, that’s an issue in the UK too!

Ultimately, I was very impressed, and for me, it was absolutely worth spending £199 each just to experience it. It was a really fun treat at the end of our trip.

However, I do think I’d struggle to part with the cash needed to stay for a full week, particularly during peak season. But could I be persuaded to return for three nights during the cheaper off-peak months? Absolutely!
