Hey, I’m Chelsea and I'm the founder of Holiday Expert.

My love of travel came in my early twenties when I finally had some money to get away on city breaks for the first time - thank you student loan! Then, after spending years making radio documentaries where I’d pitch ideas based on where I’d like to go on holiday, I decided to start making travel videos back in 2017.

It all kickstarted with a challenge where I decided to see ‘how many holidays’ I could do for half the price the average Brit spends in a year, and from there it’s grown into a website, a newsletter, a social media following of over 650k and my face popping up on the TV talking all things affordable travel.

But BRAGGING ASIDE, I just absolutely love finding a great deal on a holiday and it brings me so much joy when people tell me we’ve been able to help them score a bargain too.

My favourite destinations are those where I feel like my money goes further than in the UK - Poland, Korea, Vietnam - because whilst I’m a big fan of a great basic option, the best thing in the world is doing luxury on a lemonade budget!
